Only the guests specified in the contract are permitted on the property. Children, infants and babies must also be specified as individual persons. In case of overcrowding, Holidu or the host is entitled to demand additional payment for the respective period of time. The landlord is also entitled to expel the excess persons from the property.
This beautiful holiday home boasts an amazing location in the countryside near Algarrobo, a small village in Andalusia which is just 40 km away from Málaga (and its international airport). The beaches of the Costa del Sol can be reached after approx. a 10km drive (20 - 25 minutes). Algarrobo, with its selection of restaurants, shops, cafes, etc. is approximately 4 km away (10 minutes by car) from this Andalusian holiday home. Don't forget to order some tapas there (they are the best tapas in Spain)
The roads from Algarrobo to Casa Dalia are mostly paved, but some of them are quite bumpy (but easy) dirt roads. You won't need an off-road vehicle to drive to Casa Dalia, not even when it rains in the winter. Bear in mind that Casa Dalia is 360m above Algarrobo, so the roads are steep in some parts. After the owners receive the payment, they will send you a PDF file with directions so that you can easily find your way to the accommodation, even at night.
One of the best things about the house is its superb location. Not only will you enjoy your holidays in a private and quiet place, but also you will be sheltered from the wind while still enjoying the beautiful views over the Mediterranean Sea (approx. 5 km away) as well as over the village of Sayalonga and the Axarquía mountains. You won't share this house with any other guests but don't worry, you wont feel isolated since Málaga is just 30 minutes away and Also Granada (1.5 hours away), Sevilla and Cordoba (2.5 hours away each) are close by. You can also take a day trip to Frigliana, the most beautiful village in Andalusia (30 minutes away) or to the third highest ski area in Europe, the Sierra Nevada (2 hours away).
An iron door that can be opened and closed using a remote control gives access to Casa Dalia. Once a week Gabriel comes to clean the pool and take care of the garden, but apart from him no one will bother you during your holidays.
In the spacious living/dining room you will find a German SAT-TV, WLAN connection and air conditioning. In autumn and spring, when the weather is still sunny but it's not as warm as during the summer, you can relax admire the views over the sea from the winter garden. However, you can't spend time there in the summer because the temperature inside the winter garden is even higher than outdoors. In Casa Dalia there is also a stove that comes in very handy in the winter (for a reasonable price). If you feel that it is not enough you can also activate the heating for an additional fee.
The open and very well-equipped kitchen has a view over the pool area. In the adjacent room there is the washing machine and enough space for your food and drinks.
There are 3 bedrooms with enough space for 6 - 8 people. Two are equipped with double beds (2.0 m long and 1.60 m wide) and ceiling fans (very practical and actually better and more effective than air conditioning; they all have remote controls); in the other bedroom there are 4 bunk beds (2.0 m long and 0.90 m wide) and air conditioning. One of the 2 bathrooms has a shower; the other (en-suite) has a bath.
In the outdoor area you will find a charcoal grill by the pool where you can prepare delicious meals (there's also a sink next to the grill) and enjoy them outdoors. Please be careful as the risk of fire is very high in Andalusia. Take a nap under the retractable awning (you can extend it and retract it by pressing a button) in a warm summer evening. Please make sure you close the awning and the parasol when the wind blows.
We would like to point out that as a rule we cannot accept any bookings with booking gaps of more than 2-3 days maximum. The holiday home must therefore be free for up to 2 days before any arrival and after any departure; otherwise, at least 7 days.
General information
Renting a car or a private car is mandatory, as this holiday home is located in the countryside, there are no street names and it is not accessible by public transport. The property is private and although there are houses in the area, none are in the immediate vicinity.
Pool season: usually from 01 April to 31 October

Internet (WLAN): 4,- Euro per day, payable in cash on site
Your on-site support speaks German, English and Spanish. We will meet you at an easy to find place, drive with you to your holiday home, hand you the keys and tell you all the special features of the house and the surroundings. If there should be any problem, we will be at your disposal by e-mail and/or telephone.
Due to legal regulations in Andalusia we need the following information from all tenants before arrival: First name, surname, sex, date of birth, ID number and the date of issue as well as the e-mail address and mobile phone number of the main tenant for contact purposes.
Please note: keys can be handed over on the day of arrival from 16:00 to 22:00. After 22:00 there is a night supplement of 50, - Euro and between 24:00 and 01:00 there is a night supplement of 80, - Euro. It is NOT possible to hand over the keys or to arrive at the house when your flight lands after 23:00 as scheduled. So if you have a night flight arriving later than 23.00 in Malaga we recommend you to book a hotel room directly at the airport!
For the use of the central heating (of course only on explicit request and if available according to the property description) 100,- Euro per week (= max. one big gas bottle) have to be paid.
Please note that a deposit of 400€ must be paid in cash on arrival. The deposit will be refunded by bank transfer, once it has been verified that there are no damages, within a maximum period of 2 weeks.
If you bring a dog with you (if allowed according to the property description), a deposit of 200,- Euro and 8,- Euro per night of additional rent will be charged. Please inform us BEFORE booking about the dog breed/type, size, long or short hair!
