Holidays in Andalusia on the Costa del Sol once completely different on the Finca la Isla, which lies in a very beautiful, romantic mountain landscape below the Sierra Almijara. With views of the Mediterranean Sea and the up to 2,065-metre-high mountains in the background. The holiday home is situated very quietly and is ideal to enjoy the nature and the beautiful Andalusian weather and of course to relax. The next village is Cómpeta, one of the white villages of Andalusia, which can be reached in about five minutes by car. It is a nice place, with good restaurants, cafés and more than enough shopping facilities.
Around the house there are a lot of different places, whether in the shade, in the Andalusian sun at the waterfall or on one of the different terraces downstairs in the big garden or upstairs at the apartment ... - there is always the right place at the right time of day. In any case, no matter where you are, it is heavenly quiet here and you can finally relax undisturbed and enjoy the wonderfully calming view of the sea and the mountains.
On the Finca there are living also 3 cats (not in the house, only outside!) and in a small pond below the house a couple of turtles, frogs and goldfishes. The property is not suitable for people who do not like these animals. Unfortunately no dogs or other pets can be brought along because of the cats!
From the road that connects Cómpeta with the coastal town of Torrox Costa, there is an approximately 800 metre long, mostly concrete road that leads to Fica la Isla. Therefore, this exceptional holiday home can be reached without off-road vehicles without great difficulty, even in winter and during heavy rainfall. To Cómpeta, the next village, you drive a good 3 km and to the next beach to Torrox Costa a good 14 km (approx. 20 - 30 minutes by rental car).
The ground floor can accommodate max. 3 - 4 persons and is equipped with 2 bedrooms, a kitchen, a bathroom and a living room. From the kitchen you have a nice view into the garden, the dining area is located with a view to the Mediterranean Sea, right next to the open kitchen. One bedroom has sea views and from the other bedroom you can see the pool, which can also be accessed through a patio door from the bedroom.
One of many highlights of Finca la Isla is certainly the bathroom with separate shower on the first floor. Here, one immediately feels transported back into the time of thousand and one nights and cannot get out of the amazement. By sitting in the illuminated bath tub, one can gaze at the stars in the mostly clear andalusian sky through the small round glass windows in the dome that is located above the bath tub.
Those who like gardens and specially trees are right here. The property measures barely 7.000 m². In total, more than 200 different trees grow, from which already more than hundred different fruit trees. Some different herbs are also available. Everything is organically grown and of course everything that grows here is meant for tasting and cooking. The owners hope that their guests will discover some new plants, herbs and fruits that they have never seen before.
Behind the house, directly in front of the living room and bedroom is the pool with a grotto and a small waterfall, which is especially fun on hot days. The area around the pool is mostly not visible and is located in a garden patio open to the sea. The pavilion, which has been new since summer 2015, and the extension of the pool up to the grotto are now the absolute highlights.
Guest apartment: This exceptional holiday home in Andalusia includes a separate guest apartment on the first floor with private bathroom in the style of a thousand and one nights, a bedroom, a small and simple kitchen (refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, coffee machine, dishwasher ...), a small living room and 2 own, large terraces. From the living room and the bedroom you can see the Mediterranean Sea and the surrounding landscape. From the kitchen and the right terrace you can see the Maroma, a 2.065 m high mountain, which is in the back of the house. In the apartment 2 persons can spend their holidays completely independent from the guests on the ground floor. There is even a separate entrance from the street. Nevertheless, the ground floor and first floor are never rented to separate (i.e. foreign) guests, always only to one rental party.
General information
A rental car or private car is mandatory as this holiday home is located in the Campo, there are no street names and it is not accessible by public transport. Accordingly, the stored data in Google Maps are only a rough indication of the location. You live here alone, but not lonely, because there are of course other houses in the (near) surroundings. the surroundings.
Pool season: usually from 01. April to 31.October

Internet (WLAN): 4,- Euro per day, payable in cash on site
Your local support speaks German, English and Spanish. We will meet you at an easy to find place, drive with you to your holiday home, hand you the keys and tell you all about the house and the surroundings. If there should be a problem, we will be happy to assist you by e-mail and/or telephone.
Due to legal regulations in Andalusia we need the following information from all tenants before arrival: First name, surname, sex, date of birth, identity card number and the date of issue as well as for contacting the main tenant's e-mail address and mobile phone number.
Please note: keys can be handed over on the day of arrival from 16:00 to 22:00. After 22:00 there is a night supplement of 50, - Euro and between 24:00 and 01:00 there is a night supplement of 80, - Euro. It is NOT possible to hand over the keys or to arrive at the house when your flight lands after 23:00 as scheduled. So if you have a night flight arriving later than 23.00 in Malaga we recommend you to book a hotel room directly at the airport.
The deposit of EUR 400 must be paid in cash on the day of arrival. Provided there is no damage to the property, the deposit will be returned within 14 days of departure.
Note on electricity costs for houses with air conditioning and/or electric heating: On your arrival and departure day we will read the electricity meter together with you. If the consumption is higher than the amount included in the rental price (150 kw per week or 21,5 kw per day for stays of more than one week), an additional payment in cash on site (0,39 Euro per kw) is due for this part of the consumption. With economical or reasonable electricity consumption you can expect about 150 kw per week
