The holiday home Casa Centenillo with pool is located in the Campo ("in the country") of Cómpeta, a small mountain village in the south of Andalusia, not far from the Mediterranean coast and the international airport in Málaga.
As this beautiful country villa is located at the end of a private road, you can enjoy the great sea views and the private pool completely undisturbed.
Furthermore, the price-performance ratio of this holiday home is particularly good.
This detached holiday home with private pool is also very popular with guests who only want to enjoy the southern sun of Spain for a few months during the winter. From the terrace you have a wonderful view of the Mediterranean Sea, on clear days you can also see the Atlas Mountains in Morocco on the African side of the Mediterranean Sea.
To the mountain village of Cómpeta, where you can buy everything you need, it takes about 10 - 15 minutes.
The biggest part of the way from Cómpeta - one of the famous white villages in Andalusia - to the holiday house Casa Centenillo was already tarred some years ago, only a part of the last part, which is about 200 m long, leads over a dirt road.
The dirt road is indeed quite bumpy in some places and one should drive slowly here, but one does not need an off-road vehicle.
For inexperienced drivers and for those who have no experience with dirt roads and are rather anxious, we recommend to rent an off-road vehicle. Once you have arrived at your holiday home Casa Centenillo, you will be rewarded with a beautiful view of the sea and the surrounding mountains.
Since the holiday home is at the end of a private road of about 150 meters, you don't have to fear any passing car traffic during your holiday.
Also otherwise the house is very quiet and private.
On the terrace behind the house you can sunbathe comfortably by the pool or spend a nice barbecue evening.
Either in front of the main entrance as also in front of the side entrance there are roofed terrace parts, so that one can "escape" the sometimes enormously warm sun. The pool is filled with salt water.
By the way: one barely notices the difference between a chlorinated pool and a pool cleaned with a salt water installation.
The water in a saltwater pool tastes - if at all - only a little salty, but in the end it is surely healthier for the skin.
The chlorinated pool does not taste of anything and/or a little chlorine, provided that there is not too much chlorine in the pool. At the back of the terrace, there is an outdoor shower and a bricked charcoal grill with a sink.
The view of the Mediterranean Sea from the small, romantic corner is simply magnificent.
Especially in the evening this place is perfect for a good glass of wine with an atmospheric view of the nearby Mediterranean Sea. In the living room (German SAT-TV, WLAN, air-conditioning) there is a large dining table and an open fireplace, next to it is the access to the open kitchen.
From the kitchen you have direct access through a wooden door to the terrace, the barbecue area (charcoal grill) and the pool.
In the open kitchen with ceramic stove top, extractor hood, washing machine, toaster, coffee machine ... you should not lack for anything.
The washing machine is conveniently located in a small shelter behind the house.
At the front part of the house a device for drying the laundry has been installed. In the holiday house Casa Centenillo in the very south of Spain you have three bedrooms (one with a double bed 1.80 m x 1.35 m and the other two with two single beds - 1.90 m x 0.90 m) at your disposal.
All typical Spanish bedrooms are also equipped with large built-in wardrobes for your clothes.
One of the three bedrooms has an en-suite shower room.
In the second bathroom there is a bidet and a large bathtub with shower enclosure. We would like to point out that as a rule we cannot accept any bookings with booking gaps of more than 2-3 days maximum.
The holiday home must therefore be free for up to 2 days before any arrival and after any departure; otherwise, at least 7 days. General information Renting a car or a private car is mandatory, as this holiday home is located in the countryside, there are no street names and it is not accessible by public transport.
The property is private and although there are houses in the area, none are in the immediate vicinity. Pool season: usually from 01 April to 31 October Internet (WLAN): 4,- Euro per day, payable in cash on site Your on-site support speaks German, English and Spanish.
We will meet you at an easy to find place, drive with you to your holiday home, hand you the keys and tell you all the special features of the house and the surroundings.
If there should be any problem, we will be at your disposal by e-mail and/or telephone. Due to legal regulations in Andalusia we need the following information from all tenants before arrival: First name, surname, sex, date of birth, ID number and the date of issue as well as the e-mail address and mobile phone number of the main tenant for contact purposes. Please note: The handing over of the keys on your arrival day is possible from 16:00 to 22:00.
After 22:00 there is a night surcharge of 30,- Euro and between 24:00 and 01:00 a night surcharge of 50,- Euro.
It is not possible to hand over the keys or arrive at the house after 1:00. For the use of the central heating (of course only on explicit request and if available according to the property description) 100,- Euro per week (= max. one big gas bottle) have to be paid. If you bring a dog with you (if allowed according to the property description), a deposit of 200,- Euro and 8,- Euro per night of additional rent will be charged.
Please inform us BEFORE booking about the dog breed/type, size, long or short hair! Note on electricity costs for houses with air conditioning and/or electric heating: On your arrival and departure day we read the electricity meter together with you.
If the consumption is higher than the amount included in the rental price (150 kw per week or 21,5 kw per day for stays of more than one week), an additional payment in cash on site (0,27 Euro per kw) is due for this consumption part.
With economical or reasonable electricity consumption you can expect about 100 - 200 kw per week.
