Only the guests specified in the contract are permitted on the property. Children, infants and babies must also be specified as individual persons. In case of overcrowding, Holidu or the host is entitled to demand additional payment for the respective period of time. The landlord is also entitled to expel the excess persons from the property.
This beautiful 2.800 m2 Andalusian house is only 10 minutes away from Cómpeta, and it has everything you can ask for during your holidays: a private pool, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a dishwasher and a washing machine, amazing views over the sea... The village of Cómpeta, with a population of about 4,000, is in the south of Spain, in Andalusia, and at a 25-minutes drive from the beaches of Costa del Sol. The nearest airport, in Malaga, is only 50 km away (about 50 minutes by car). In this part of Andalusia you will enjoy the mildest climate in Europe with an average of 320 sunny days a year.
The roads that lead to Casa Solana are mostly well paved; you will only drive on a slightly bumpy but fairly easy to drive dirt road for the last 500 meters. The property is next to a nature reserve, so you will enjoy your holiday in absolute privacy. Moreover, nothing obstructs the views over the landscape: from the winter garden, which is facing south and is the ideal place to to rest on colder days, there are amazing views over the Mediterranean. In front of the house there is also enough space to park several cars, as well as a covered parking lot which comes in handy during the summer.
Casa Solana boasts beautiful views of the mountains of La Axarquía (Málaga, Andalusia) including La Maroma, the highest mountain in the area (about 2,065 m high). Although in the winter this mountain is usually covered in snow, you will still be able to enjoy the views while resting by the pool in your swimsuit under the sun.
The outdoor area around the pool is spacious and well arranged; it also has shaded areas so that you can spend time outdoors even in the summer. The owners thought of almost everything when renovating the accommodation, which has been completely refurbished. You will also find a mobile barbecue outside and you can use it wherever you want. Nonetheless we warn you to be very careful given that the risk of accidentally starting a wildfire is very high, especially during the summer. The outdoor kitchen is also very useful, as you will be spending most of your holiday outdoors.
The large winter garden leads directly into the living room, which has an adjoining dining room for 6 people. a CD player and you can also ask for Internet connection. There are also a ceiling fan and air conditioning, wherease for those (very) few cold days there is a wood stove in the living room as well as underfloor heating in the dining room and in the kitchen. If you want to use the stove, the owners can give you wood for an additional price (it will already be there when you arrive). New photovoltaic system with central floor heating in kitchen and salon and german and Spanish TV (Movistar plus).
In the well equipped kitchen you will find everything you need for your holidays. Apart from the dishwasher, there is a large fridge with a separate freezer, a ceramic hove with an extractor hood, an oven, a microwave, a toaster, a coffee maker, an egg boiler, a blender and, of course, enough dishes and cutlery for all guests. You will also find a vacuum cleaner, an iron and much more.
In the house there are 3 bedrooms with air conditioning and spacious built-in closets (the beds are 0.90 m wide and 2.0 m long). There is a fourth room in Casa Solana which guests cannot use and will therefore remain locked. Each room has its own bathroom (one of them has a bathtub), so you won't have to wait long to shower in the morning. Of course, there is also a hair dryer.
We would like to point out that as a rule we cannot accept any bookings with booking gaps of more than 2-3 days maximum. The holiday home must therefore be free for up to 2 days before any arrival and after any departure; otherwise, at least 7 days.
General information
Renting a car or a private car is mandatory, as this holiday home is located in the countryside, there are no street names and it is not accessible by public transport. The property is private and although there are houses in the area, none are in the immediate vicinity.
Pool season: usually from 01 April to 31 October
Internet (WLAN): 4,- Euro per day, payable in cash on site
Your on-site support speaks German, English and Spanish. We will meet you at an easy to find place, drive with you to your holiday home, hand you the keys and tell you all the special features of the house and the surroundings. If there should be any problem, we will be at your disposal by e-mail and/or telephone.
Due to legal regulations in Andalusia we need the following information from all tenants before arrival: First name, surname, sex, date of birth, ID number and the date of issue as well as the e-mail address and mobile phone number of the main tenant for contact purposes.
Please note: keys can be handed over on the day of arrival from 16:00 to 22:00. After 22:00 there is a night supplement of 50, - Euro and between 24:00 and 01:00 there is a night supplement of 80, - Euro. It is NOT possible to hand over the keys or to arrive at the house when your flight lands after 23:00 as scheduled. So if you have a night flight arriving later than 23.00 in Malaga we recommend you to book a hotel room directly at the airport!
For the use of the central heating (of course only on explicit request and if available according to the property description) 100,- Euro per week (= max. one big gas bottle) have to be paid.
Please note that a deposit of 400€ must be paid in cash on arrival. The deposit will be refunded by bank transfer, once it has been verified that there are no damages, within a maximum period of 2 weeks.
Note on electricity costs for houses with air conditioning and/or electric heating: On your arrival and departure day we read the electricity meter together with you. If the consumption is higher than the amount included in the rental price (150 kw per week or 21,5 kw per day for stays of more than one week), an additional payment in cash on site (0,39 Euro per kw) is due for this consumption part. With economical or reasonable electricity consumption you can expect about 150 kw per week.
