Casa Miranda- Holidays in the beautiful Andalucia

Only the guests specified in the contract are permitted on the property. Children, infants and babies must also be specified as individual persons. In case of overcrowding, Holidu or the host is entitled to demand additional payment for the respective period of time. The landlord is also entitled to expel the excess persons from the property.

Casa Miranda is a holiday house with a large swimming pool, situated in the south of Andalusia not far from the Costa del Sol. A little further up are the Casa Alimea and Finca Marlisa, also very nice holiday homes for a total of max. 8 people.
All three houses are only a few steps away from each other, but nevertheless there is a lot of living in each holiday home. 14 people could spend their holidays together in these holiday homes separately. The next village is the mountain village Cómpeta with its almost 4,000 inhabitants, which is well known especially in England and Denmark. Cómpeta can be reached after approximately 10 minutes by rental car. The beaches on the Mediterranean Sea can be reached by rental car in about 35 minutes on the main road.

A very special highlight is the large covered terrace right in front of the house from which you can see the pool area. This is very pleasant, especially in the warm summer months. If there were no bigger trees on the neighbouring uninhabited plot, you could also see the Mediterranean Sea from the terrace - in some places it only shines with a blue tint. The large charcoal grill is located in front of the house, which is accessed through a wrought iron door. Here you can also park your rental car.

Through the entrance door you enter from the covered terrace into the especially large living room with the open kitchen. The German SAT-TV was installed at the beginning of the 2017 season by the friendly Spanish owners.

In the open kitchen you will find the dishwasher, the stove with oven, the fridge, the toaster, the coffee maker, the kettle, the microwave, enough cutlery and dishes. You will find everything you need during your vacation. The washing machine is in the bathroom.

In Casa Miranda there are three bedrooms, so that a maximum of 6 people can spend a relaxed holiday here. The beds in the two main bedrooms are about 1.35 m wide and 1.85 m long, the beds in the triple bedroom are about 0.9 m wide and 1.85 m long. Since there is a third bed, another child, that is a total of 6 adults and one child, can spend the night at Casa Miranda if necessary.

The bathroom is especially large for the local conditions. You can take a bath in the bathtub, but thanks to the shower screen you can also take a comfortable bath. There is also a washing machine in the bathroom.

The pool area is one level below the house and the large covered terrace. Around the pool there is enough space to enjoy the Andalusian sun without interruption on one of the sun beds and you can relax from the stress of everyday life. In the pool house there is practically a shower and also a toilet.

We would like to point out that as a rule we cannot accept any bookings with booking gaps of more than 2-3 days maximum. The holiday home must therefore be free for up to 2 days before any arrival and after any departure; otherwise, at least 7 days.

General information

Renting a car or a private car is mandatory, as this holiday home is located in the countryside, there are no street names and it is not accessible by public transport. The property is private and although there are houses in the area, none are in the immediate vicinity.

Pool season: usually from 01 April to 31 October

Internet (WLAN): 4,- Euro per day, payable in cash on site

Your on-site support speaks German, English and Spanish. We will meet you at an easy to find place, drive with you to your holiday home, hand you the keys and tell you all the special features of the house and the surroundings. If there should be any problem, we will be at your disposal by e-mail and/or telephone.

Due to legal regulations in Andalusia we need the following information from all tenants before arrival: First name, surname, sex, date of birth, ID number and the date of issue as well as the e-mail address and mobile phone number of the main tenant for contact purposes.

Please note: keys can be handed over on the day of arrival from 16:00 to 22:00. After 22:00 there is a night supplement of 50, - Euro and between 24:00 and 01:00 there is a night supplement of 80, - Euro. It is NOT possible to hand over the keys or to arrive at the house when your flight lands after 23:00 as scheduled. So if you have a night flight arriving later than 23.00 in Malaga we recommend you to book a hotel room directly at the airport!

For the use of the central heating (of course only on explicit request and if available according to the property description) 100,- Euro per week (= max. one big gas bottle) have to be paid.

If you bring a dog with you (if allowed according to the property description), a deposit of 200,- Euro and 8,- Euro per night of additional rent will be charged. Please inform us BEFORE booking about the dog breed/type, size, long or short hair!

Please note that a deposit of 400€ must be paid in cash on arrival. The deposit will be refunded by bank transfer, once it has been verified that there are no damages, within a maximum period of 2 weeks.

Note on electricity costs for houses with air conditioning and/or electric heating: On your arrival and departure day we read the electricity meter together with you. If the consumption is higher than the amount included in the rental price (150 kw per week or 21,5 kw per day for stays of more than one week), an additional payment in cash on site (0,39 Euro per kw) is due for this consumption part. With economical or reasonable electricity consumption you can expect about 150 kw per week.
