Only the guests specified in the contract are permitted on the property. Children, infants and babies must also be specified as individual persons. In case of overcrowding, Holidu or the host is entitled to demand additional payment for the respective period of time. The landlord is also entitled to expel the excess persons from the property.
Cortijo Bella Vista impresses guests with its magnificent views over the sea, the mountains of La Axarquía and the romantic sunsets. The road to the village of Cómpeta (10 minutes away by car) is mostly paved, so there is no need to rent an off-road vehicle to reach this holiday home. Only the last 30 meters are a bit steep.
Cortijo Bella Vista is surrounded by terraces, so if you are quite a big group of people you can enjoy the views together or by yourself. On one of them, you will find a charcoal grill and a gas barbecue. This terrace is ideal for having dinner while enjoying the sunset and the views of the sea, but you shouldn't miss the views over the highest mountain in the area, the Maroma (2,065 m high), which is covered with snow in the winter. On especially clear days you can also see the Atlas Mountains in Africa from the terrace. You won't forget the days you spent here!
The garage in the right of the main entrance remains closed for the guests because the owners have stored objects they don't use there and also parked their old car.
Solar panels heat the water of the beautiful pool, which is perfect for autumn and spring. Around the pool there is enough space to sunbathe and relax. You will forget about the stress of your everyday life in no time! Please note that the tower behind the pool is a water tank and should not be used as a diving board; the pool is not deep enough for this!
Although Cortijo Bella Vista is a rather simple house, you will find everything you need for your holiday here. In the living room, there is WIFI, a German satellite TV, a very practical ceiling fan in summer and a stereo sound system. Even on particularly warm days, the living room is pleasantly cool thanks to the ceiling fan and the location (with the doors open there is always a draught).
The open kitchen is also very well equipped although it does not have an oven (a stove, a dishwasher, a washing machine, a microwave, a toaster, a coffee machine, a roll or baguette maker, a kettle, 2 refrigerators, enough cutlery and dishes, ...).
The three bedrooms and two bathrooms are spacious enough for 6 people. The beds are each 1.80 m wide; one of them is 1.90 m long and the other 2.0 m long, so they should also be wide and long enough for guests from Northern Europe (Spanish beds are usually 1.90 m long and only 1.35 m wide).
There is a wood stove and a gas central heating system in the house, which can be used by guests in the colder months on request, upon payment of a weekly fee. In the winter months it is usually pleasantly mild in Andalusia, but can also get very cold. That is why a central heating is, for example, absolutely practical for those who want to spend the winter in Andalusia.
We would like to point out that as a rule we cannot accept any bookings with booking gaps of more than 2-3 days maximum. The holiday home must therefore be free for up to 2 days before any arrival and after any departure; otherwise, at least 7 days.
General information
Renting a car or a private car is mandatory, as this holiday home is located in the countryside, there are no street names and it is not accessible by public transport. The property is private and although there are houses in the area, none are in the immediate vicinity.
Pool season: usually from 01 April to 31 October
Internet (WLAN): 4,- Euro per day, payable in cash on site
Your on-site support speaks German, English and Spanish. We will meet you at an easy to find place, drive with you to your holiday home, hand you the keys and tell you all the special features of the house and the surroundings. If there should be any problem, we will be at your disposal by e-mail and/or telephone.
Due to legal regulations in Andalusia we need the following information from all tenants before arrival: First name, surname, sex, date of birth, ID number and the date of issue as well as the e-mail address and mobile phone number of the main tenant for contact purposes.
Please note: keys can be handed over on the day of arrival from 16:00 to 22:00. After 22:00 there is a night supplement of 50, - Euro and between 24:00 and 01:00 there is a night supplement of 80, - Euro. It is NOT possible to hand over the keys or to arrive at the house when your flight lands after 23:00 as scheduled. So if you have a night flight arriving later than 23.00 in Malaga we recommend you to book a hotel room directly at the airport!
For the use of the central heating (of course only on explicit request and if available according to the property description) 100,- Euro per week (= max. one big gas bottle) have to be paid.
If you bring a dog with you (if allowed according to the property description), a deposit of 200,- Euro and 8,- Euro per night of additional rent will be charged. Please inform us BEFORE booking about the dog breed/type, size, long or short hair!
Please note that a deposit of 400€ must be paid in cash on arrival. The deposit will be refunded by bank transfer, once it has been verified that there are no damages, within a maximum period of 2 weeks
Note on electricity costs for houses with air conditioning and/or electric heating: On your arrival and departure day we read the electricity meter together with you. If the consumption is higher than the amount included in the rental price (150 kw per week or 21,5 kw per day for stays of more than one week), an additional payment in cash on site (0,39 Euro per kw) is due for this consumption part. With economical or reasonable electricity consumption you can expect about 150 kw per week.
