In case of overcrowding, Holidu or the host is entitled to demand additional payment for the respective period of time. The landlord is also entitled to expel the excess persons from the property.
Are you looking for a holiday home with a large pool in the south of Spain, Andalusia, not far from the beaches of the Costa del Sol? Then Cortijo Erendira is the right place for you! The country house is in a secluded but easy to reach location; you can drive there through paved paths. The village of Cómpeta, with its selection of restaurants, shops, cafes, etc. is less than 5 minutes away by car.
Next to the main house, you will find a guest house with 2 extra bedrooms and a bathroom for another 6 people which will remain locked during your stay.
The country house villa is highly recommended for one or two couples, as well as for a family with children, as the pool area can be closed separately and there is a large meadow with a big play tower where children can have fun outdoors for hours! The next beach of the Costa del Sol is only 30 minutes away by car.
There is enough space to park your (rental) car(s) behind the wrought-iron entrance gate. The owners have been carefully designing and renewing this property for the last 20 years and it shows! Both the superb location and the property itself will make your stay in Cortijo Endira II unforgettable.
Besides children of any age, pets are also welcomed in Cortijo Erendira. There are paths ideal for going for a walk with your dog; you can even walk to Cómpeta if you are feeling sporty! (approx. 30 minutes).
The living room is big enough for 7 people, and at the dining table, there can have lunch up to 10 guests. The underfloor heating (extra fee) and the fireplace stove are ideal for the coldest months (even though bad weather isn't something usual in this area). In Cortijo Erendira there is no TV, but the owners can install it under request before your arrival (Astra, German channels).
In the kitchen, you will find everything you need during your stay (a washing machine, a dishwasher, a large refrigerator, an extractor hood, a stove, an oven, a toaster, a coffee machine...). The small pavilion in front of the living room is a very nice place to enjoy a delicious lunch or dinner with your loved ones.
In the main house of Cortijo Erendira, there are 3 bedrooms and a bathroom with a washing machine and a dryer. In the first bedroom there is a double bed; in the second bedroom, two single beds (which can also be pushed together into a double bed) and in the third bedroom, there are 3 single beds, two of which are bunk beds. All bedrooms have air conditioner. For the youngest guests of Cortijo Erendira, there is a cot, a high chair, a baby bath, and a baby changing table (all free).
The pool is very large compared to the pools you would normally find in this area (approx. 9 meters long and 3 meters deep). In the winter it can also be heated using solar panels. We will be happy to give you more information if you call us. Of course, there are also an outdoor shower and a charcoal grill. Sun loungers and at least one parasol are also available.
Don't miss the views of the sunset from the pool, they are simply breathtaking. Also, the pool area is sheltered, so you can swim undisturbed and forget all your problems relaxing under the Spanish sun.
We would like to point out that as a rule we cannot accept any bookings with booking gaps of more than 2-3 days maximum. The holiday home must therefore be free for up to 2 days before any arrival and after any departure; otherwise, at least 7 days.
General information
Renting a car or a private car is mandatory, as this holiday home is located in the countryside, there are no street names and it is not accessible by public transport. The property is private and although there are houses in the area, none are in the immediate vicinity.
Pool season: usually from 01 April to 31 October
Your on-site support speaks German, English and Spanish. We will meet you at an easy to find place, drive with you to your holiday home, hand you the keys and tell you all the special features of the house and the surroundings. If there should be any problem, we will be at your disposal by e-mail and/or telephone.
Due to legal regulations in Andalusia we need the following information from all tenants before arrival: First name, surname, sex, date of birth, ID number and the date of issue as well as the e-mail address and mobile phone number of the main tenant for contact purposes.
Please note: keys can be handed over on the day of arrival from 16:00 to 22:00. After 22:00 there is a night supplement of 50, - Euro and between 24:00 and 01:00 there is a night supplement of 80, - Euro. It is NOT possible to hand over the keys or to arrive at the house when your flight lands after 23:00 as scheduled. So if you have a night flight arriving later than 23.00 in Malaga we recommend you to book a hotel room directly at the airport!
For the use of the central heating (of course only on explicit request and if available according to the property description) 100,- Euro per week (= max. one big gas bottle) have to be paid.
A deposit of €400 in cash will be charged upon arrival and a transfer will be made no more than 2 weeks after departure. If you bring a dog (if allowed according to the description of the property) will be charged €8 per night for additional rent. Please inform us BEFORE booking about the dog breed/type, size, long or short hair!
Note on electricity costs for houses with air conditioning and/or electric heating: On your arrival and departure day we read the electricity meter together with you. If the consumption is higher than the amount included in the rental price (150 kw per week or 21,5 kw per day for stays of more than one week), an additional payment in cash on site (0,39 Euro per kw) is due for this consumption part. With economical or reasonable electricity consumption you can expect about 150 kw per week.
