The climatic health resort of Völlan (Italian: Foiana) in the Merano area lies 650 m above sea level amid forests, orchards and vineyards—a paradise for nature lovers, hikers and mountain bikers.

In autumn, you are invited to convivial Törggelen gatherings.

Just 5 minutes from the village centre, the “Schlosshof” property houses the 40 m² “Mayenburg” apartment on the ground floor with a separate entrance. The apartment sleeps 2 and has a living room with a sofa, dining area and kitchenette with an electric hob, coffee machine and fridge, plus a bedroom and a bathroom with a shower and toilet. Wi-Fi, heating, a cot and a high chair are also provided. The shared garden has a pool that is particularly popular with children.

Depending on the weather, it is open to guests around the clock from approximately late April to early/mid-September. The spacious garden overlooking the Mayenburg castle ruins also has a playground, barbecue, various sun loungers and a garden swing seat, ensuring every guest can find a favourite spot. Hiking and mountain biking routes of varying difficulty start practically on your doorstep.

Restaurants in Völlan are just a few minutes’ walk away.

The neighbouring village of Lana offers more restaurants, shops and numerous supermarkets, approximately 7–8 km away (5–6 minutes by car). For winter sports enthusiasts, the Merano 2000 ski area is just 16 km away and can be reached in under 30 minutes by car. Other ski areas are only a 45-minute drive away. A parking space is available on the property. Pets are not allowed.
