Hinter dem Haus beginnt die Natur. Es gibt schöne Wanderwege und für jedes Leistungsniveau ist etwas dabei. Mit dem Auto erreicht man in wenigen Minuten Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Bäcker und eine Tankstelle. Die Unterkunft bietet einen Brötchenservice an.
Es gab etwas mehr Durchgangsverkehr, was aber mit einer mehrtägigen Vollsperrung einer in der Nähe befindlichen Hauptstr. zu tun hatte und wofür niemand etwas kann.
