Our house is situated at an altitude of approx. 1000 m on the edge of the climatic health resort of Schönwald in the Black Forest.
Flanked by meadows, right on the edge of the forest, we can offer you a vacation of the highest recreational value in a cozy and familiar atmosphere. Our surroundings invite you to hike or just go for a walk on well-marked and well-maintained paths in rural tranquillity and clear air. Or how about a visit to the heated outdoor pool just 5 minutes' walk from our house? In winter you have the opportunity to enjoy the snow-covered landscape on carefully groomed cross-country ski trails.
You can also get in the mood for alpine skiing fun on the nearby lift.
The lift is equipped with floodlights. You don't even need a car for the lift and cross-country ski trail, both can be reached within 5 minutes on foot from our house. If you show the guest card that we give you on arrival, you can use the outdoor pool and lift free of charge.
The same applies to journeys on public transport in the area of the transport associations beyond Freiburg, Rottweil, Villingen-Schwenningen, Lörrach and Waldshut-Tiengen. Why not explore the Black Forest free of charge by train and bus? We can provide you with timetables.
