The Hermitage of San Frutos, a spectacular viewpoint within the Natural Park, is perfect for a short getaway from Requijada.
Requijada is part of the Route of the Red and Black Villages, known for its traditional architecture and the unique colours of the villages in the Sierra de Ayllón.
Montejo de la Vega and the Hoces del Riaza are other less crowded but beautiful natural spots, ideal for hiking and birdwatching enthusiasts.
