A 1.5 km circular trail around the Strohbach Valley invites you for a walk and leads past a water treading pool with a large forest playground (about 10 minutes on foot). Strohbach is an ideal starting point for trips into the Black Forest.

Ruhige Lage aber man ist schnell im Zentrum von Gengenbach ( Auto keine 5 Min) , die Gastgeber waren überaus freundlich, konnten sogar früher einchecken, es war alles sehr sauber und ordentlich.
Im unteren Stock ist es angenehm kühl, dafür ist das zweite Schlafzimmer unterm Dach und wenn es draußen warm ist, hat man da ordentlich Hitze drin. Die Küche könnte man etwas modernisieren aber das ist meckern auf hohem Niveau
