A small rustic cottage with a pool in a beautiful green setting, in peaceful woodland: an ideal area to relax and reconnect with nature.
Shops and river swimming spots are 4 km away.
Nearby: climbing, canoeing, treetop courses, horse riding, mountain biking, hiking and listed picturesque villages. Access: a 200 m public dirt-and-stone track, maintained and levelled annually.
Usually passable in a standard car, it can be harder in heavy rain.
Roadside parking is available just before the track. The accommodation is simple, comfortable and equipped with essentials.
Ground floor: open-plan kitchen/living room, TV area, enclosed bathroom.
First floor: bedroom (140 cm bed) and large open mezzanine (two 90 x 180 cm children's beds and an extra mattress). Cot available.
Sheets and towels provided. The pool is exclusively yours, open from 15 May to 15 October.
A safety barrier protects access.
Children must be constantly supervised by an adult when swimming. Washing machine at the host's home.
Pets welcome free of charge. Outside, between the cottage and pool, a sheltered table and chairs offer outdoor dining, with an electric griddle available. In the forest, encounters with animals and insects are common, sometimes even indoors.
Composting facilities are available for a shared eco-friendly approach. Check your rental risk coverage with your insurer.
If a major unforeseen event prevents the rental, a full refund will be issued if no alternative can be offered. NB: the air conditioner is a small portable unit on wheels.
