Location & surroundings
Surrounded by nature, this is a relaxing retreat just a short drive from Freiburg and the charming town of Staufen.
This is the ideal base for exploring the region.
Numerous hiking and cycling trails start nearby, leading through forests, gentle hills, and the beautiful southern Black Forest.
The village center is only 500 m away, Staufen is 7 km, and Freiburg is 14 km.
Every Friday from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m., a small weekly market takes place in the village.
For daily needs, there is a mini-shop in Bollschweil (daily 6:00 a.m.–10:00 p.m.); larger supermarkets and bakeries can be found in Sölden and Kirchhofen.
