'La Grande Epoque' is one of four beautifully restored 19th-century stone gîtes at 'Belle Vue', arranged around a central courtyard.
This cottage sleeps up to six people in three bedrooms.
Downstairs, there is one double bedroom with en-suite washroom, one bedroom with twin beds, and a bathroom with Italian shower (wet room). The large main room has a dining area, sofa, and stone fireplace with wood burning stove.
The kitchen area has a large range of fitted units, washing machine, dishwasher, gas cooker, double sink, fridge/freezer, microwave oven, toaster, and electric kettle.
A filter coffee machine is also provided. The open plan staircase leads to the mezzanine, which has seating, British Freeview TV, DVD player, CD player, and the separate upstairs double bedroom. The cottage has tiled floors, exposed beams, and many exposed stone walls.
Cots, high chairs, and stair gates are available for young families. Outside, guests can enjoy a shared heated pool, table tennis, and barbecue facilities in the garden.
A whirlpool offers a relaxing retreat after a day of exploring.
WiFi is available, and a baby crib and high chair are provided for families with little ones.
Electric heaters and fans ensure comfort in all seasons.
On-site parking is also available. Located in a quaint Vendée village, Puyravault is within easy reach of La Rochelle on one side, the Vendée beaches on the other side, and the Green Venice.
The hosts live on-site in July and August and are on hand should you need anything during your stay.
