The gîte "De Royer" is located in the 300-year-old mill "Du Moulin de Royer", set in a beautiful nature reserve in northern Ardèche, near the charming French village of Pailharès on a hilltop.
We have carefully renovated the 70 m² gîte, preserving authentic details.
The accommodation is suitable for 2 adults and is 'Adults Only.' There is a bathroom with shower, sink, and toilet.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge-freezer, 4-burner gas stove with oven, microwave, and filter coffee maker.
The cozy living-sleeping room offers a sitting area, Dutch TV, Wi-Fi, and a comfortable 1.60 m bed with two nightstands.
Outside, you will find a fenced private garden with seating, a table with four chairs, a parasol, and two loungers, as well as a covered terrace and barbecue.
There are also two seating areas by the water with mountain views.
Books and games are available in the house.
The large garden extends to the stream "La Daronne," perfect for relaxing or bathing.
Beach towels, locally grown herbs and vegetables are available.
There is a shared washing machine, bicycle storage, and private parking.
The thick walls keep the interior pleasantly cool on warm days. The area is peaceful, non-touristy, and lies between two villages.
St Félicien is an 8-minute drive and offers markets, shops, and restaurants.
Ardèche is known for local products, wine tastings, caves, castles, and brocantes. Bed, bath, and kitchen linen, final cleaning, shampoo, shower gel and conditioner (biodegradable), firewood, and waste disposal are included.

Wij hebben in deze gite twee heerlijke weken vakantie gehad. Een erg leuk vakantiehuis, sfeervol ingericht met houtkachel en tv. Buiten een zithoekje om in de ochtendzon te ontbijten. Vier minuten rijden naar St.Felicien voor vers brood.
Jammer dat Rob in Nederland was maar Ineke heeft als gastvro...

Zoek je rust, natuur en een historische gite dan is dit DE plek. In een voormalige molen zaten we in een nieuw verblijf. Muren van een meter dik hielden het heerlijk koel. Aan niets ontbrak het. Wat hebben we hier heerlijk (race-)gefietst. Super rustige goede wegen en authentieke dorpjes. Nadien even dompelen in het beekje voor de gite, super. Dank aan de gastvrijheid van Rob en Ineke.

De verhuurders zijn zo behulpzaam en bijzonder aardig. Fantastische achtertuin met een idyllisch stromend beekje (heel rustgevend) en leuke dorpjes.
Kortom, een plek waar je heel graag wil zijn en kunt genieten van je vakantie!
