La maison est bien placée, proche de la mer, du village pour y faire les courses et y boire un café, de l'office du tourisme qui propose des visites guidées intéressantes, du passage du Gois et du polder, des nombreuses pistes cyclables qui desservent l'île.
L'environnement est calme. La maison est agréable, aménagée de manière pratique et bien équipée.
