Casa Josefina welcomes you to Dólar, a village between Sierra Nevada and Sierra de Baza Natural Park.
This 150 m² holiday home sleeps up to 8 guests in 4 bedrooms and has 2 bathrooms.
The fully equipped kitchen includes a stovetop coffee maker; homemade jam is also provided.
Heating is available throughout: wood-burning stoves in the kitchen, living room and dining room, an electric heater in one bedroom, a pellet stove in another and fireplace heat in a third.
Wi-Fi, a TV, a fan, a washing machine and a dryer are also available. Enjoy mountain views from 2 balconies or relax on the covered terrace.
A private barbecue is available for outdoor meals. If you cannot find a parking space on the property, you can park in the orchard.
The ground is uneven and becomes muddy when it rains.
Up to 2 pets are welcome, and smoking is allowed.
Parties and events are not permitted. There are 2 local bars next to the house.
Well-maintained forest tracks lead from the village to the Sulayr trail, which runs throughout Sierra Nevada.
In the Sierra de Dólar, Las Juntas is where 2 streams meet in the Barranco de Piedra and Barranco del Castañar ravines.
On the other side, Sierra de Baza Natural Park is accessible via forest tracks.
Peñón de Joraique offers spectacular views of the Sierra Nevada peaks above the Marquesado del Cenete, especially when snow-covered.
From there, you can follow the Sulayr trail to the Toril bivouac shelter, with Puerto de la Ragua nearby.
