Christine and Stéphane welcome you to Gîte L’Ancien Chai, an outbuilding recorded in the land registry in 1813 and restored in 2022.
In the Entre-deux-Mers wine region, between the Garonne and Dordogne rivers, you’ll be surrounded by medieval villages, fortified towns and châteaux.
Bordeaux and Saint-Émilion are each 35 km away, the Sauternes wine region is 8 km away and Arcachon Bay is 85 km away. The 36 m² cottage offers all the comforts for a pleasant stay. Upstairs, you’ll find a bedroom with a 160 x 200 cm bed and a fully equipped shower room.
Downstairs are a fully equipped kitchen (oven, induction hob, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine and small appliances) and an adjoining living room (leather sofa, pellet stove, 109 cm TV, digital terrestrial channels, Wi-Fi and smart speaker). Household linen is provided.
Guests are asked to leave the cottage as clean as they found it. A cleaning security deposit is required.
The accommodation must be left clean, otherwise charges may apply. You have a 17 m² outdoor terrace with garden furniture, a plancha grill and barbecue, plus 380 m² of adjoining grounds.
You can store your bikes in a locked garage.
A parking space is also reserved for you. Please note that parties, events and pets are not allowed on the property. Your hosts will, of course, be on hand to help, ready and delighted to welcome you to this peaceful, rejuvenating spot. We wish you a wonderful stay!
