In the quiet centre of Hamswehrum, Krummhörn, on a raised mound, the cosy 50 m² ground-floor apartment “A&U Urlaub auf der Warft” sleeps 2 guests.

It has a bedroom with a double bed (180 x 200 cm), an open-plan living/dining area with a fully equipped kitchen, and a bathroom with natural light and a shower.

More restaurants are in Upleward, Groothusen, Pilsum, Greetsiel (12 km) and Emden (about 20 km). Knock beach is about 25 minutes by car, and the Großes Meer and Kleines Meer lakes near Hinte about 35 minutes.

Coffee and cake are available at weekends, a 2-minute walk away.

Attractions include the Lower Saxony Wadden Sea National Park, bird sanctuary, agricultural museum in Campen, bunker museum, art museum and Otto Huus.

Day trips run from Norddeich to Norderney and Spiekeroog, and from Emden to Borkum.
