At 800 m in a hamlet on the Cère valley slopes, near Curebourse pass (997 m), this 1880 house, renovated in 2013, blends period charm with modern comfort (4-star holiday accommodation). In Auvergne Volcanoes Regional Nature Park, it is just a 5-minute walk from Vic-sur-Cère town centre (all shops) and the SNCF railway station.
Enjoy a detached, typically Auvergne country house built of lava stone with a slate roof, 2,000 m² of private enclosed grounds and private parking.
South-facing and not overlooked, it offers superb views of the valley and Cantal mountains. The cosy mountain-style interior blends stone and wood, with a traditional “cantou” inglenook, scullery, wood-burning stove and electric heating.
All bedrooms have sloping ceilings and exposed beams. Floor area: 130 m². • Ground floor: large, bright living area with farmhouse table; lounge with sofa bed facing the cantou, flat-screen TV, DVD player and Wi-Fi; equipped open-plan kitchen (microwave, dishwasher, oven, induction/gas hob, extractor hood, fridge-freezer, high chair); shower room with hydromassage shower; separate WC. • Upstairs: 1 bedroom (140 cm bed, baby kit), 1 large bedroom (140 cm bed, two 90 cm beds, 90 cm trundle bed), bathroom with bath and WC. • Attic: large bedroom with four 90 cm beds. • Basement laundry: washing machine, tumble dryer, sink, storage for bikes/skis/snowshoes/footwear. • Outdoors: garden furniture, barbecue, sun loungers. One pet welcome.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille , le gîte était très bien agencé, très propre ,il ne manquait rien Merci à Mme Pouilhes Hélène pour son accueil chaleureux et sa gentille attention pour la décoration de Noël. nous recommandons fortement ce gîte vous ne serez pas déçu.

Super weekend au gite de l abrevoir, nous avons passé un tres bon week-end du 30 au 31 janvier à sept adultes et deux enfants. Gîte tres calme. De grande pieces Nous remercion la propriétaire pour sa gentillesse et disponibilité et sa compréhension envers les enfants. tres bonne adresse. nous gardons cette adresse pour une prochaine visite dans le Cantal. merci a vous.
