The idyllic Baltic seaside resort of Zempin lies at Usedom’s narrowest point, in the middle of the island.
This central location is ideal for exploring Usedom by car, bike or the Usedomer Bäderbahn railway.
The former fishing village has a shallow, stone-free Baltic beach with fine sand on one side and a romantic setting on the Achterwasser lagoon (Usedom Nature Park) on the other.
The new beach promenade, with its large open-air stage, sits in the coastal forest near the Baltic Sea. Concerts take place regularly here in summer.
Watching the sunset over the Baltic Sea from here is a special experience.
