Due to the current pandemic situation caused by the coronavirus we are faced with great challenges in tourism and for all those involved. Each individual should play their part in limiting the spread of the virus, for this reason our entire Bookiply team has been working in the home office since March. We hope that the peak of the pandemic has passed - at least in Europe - and are looking forward to the restrictions being minimized and approved by the authorities.
We firmly believe that vacationing in a holiday home will continue to be a desired way to enjoy the best time of the year.
Currently, one of our greatest challenges is to take existing bookings and act according to the official requirements, to deal with the large amount of calls and emails in customer service in a timely and personalized fashion. At the same time to find a system of postponing planned holidays in cooperation with the travellers together in a proactive manner.
• Please understand that currently we can only deal with bookings that have a planned arrival date within the next 6 weeks.
• Please refrain from calling or sending an email if your planned stay is further than 6 weeks in the future.
Bookiply or the booking channel you made your reservation on will also proactively contact you if new travel warnings / bans come into effect that will hinder your arrival.
• Please make your first consideration rebooking your stay for a later time. This will not only help you to keep your excitement for your upcoming holiday, but you will also be helping Bookiply hosts to come through this crisis with more confidence.
• If you still wish to cancel your booking free of charge, then we can only comply with this request if the arrival at your destination is planned within the next 2 weeks and official prohibitions/restrictions have already come into force for this period. In all other cases we ask for your patience.
